Elloree got her first official Win, Sam was on the Podium with a 3rd place in Champ & Scott landed a 4th in Gold Plate to also make the WKA Podium...

Kart a Rama

The new #34x started on the pole in the heat, but went off track and damaged the sprocket and had to pull off. Started and finished 3rd in the feature this kart was hand full to drive, back to the shop to dialer her in.

Kart A Rama 5-28

What a great time at Kart a Rama Mifflintown Airport. The track was crazy fast and the staff was 2nd to none. The #34 Clone started 5th in the heat, got collected in a wreck on lap 3, NO Caution! aaah. After getting straightened out we were able to slowly real in the leaders and pick off a kart thru each turn untill the final lap passing the leader for the heat win.

Starting pole in the feature the #34 got over taken and dropped back to 3rd. The #34 started to come in and battle back to the lead, but losing brakes quick (this can't be good) and it wasn't lost the brakes and had to make a quick decision to abort the track with injury to fans or driver. DNF!

2011 Race Season

Looks like the Race season is almost upon us. Maddie will be running a full size kart this year (#17 of coarse) as she did in the last part of last season. It will be tough on driver and crew chief while we get the set up right. Don't worry that's half the fun of getting the kart to turn in faster laps each session.

New Jersey Motorsports Park Practice Session

The practice session was pretty successful, we learned alot about Maddie's Jr. Kart and made quite a few changes thru out the day. The #17 hit the track about 6 sessions, each one turning in better times.

The #34 Champ Kart also hit the track. Lap times were good but later in the day found that we had some minor engine problems that kept us mid pack.

We had a good day with great late season weather and good freinds. We are looking forward to racing NJMP next seasons 12 race schedule.

I know what your thinking, but when KAT Motorsports isn't on the track we like four wheel'n with our Black 89' Jeep Wrangler with the Neary Bros. Racing Team in there Red 91' Jeep Wrangler.

The Pits are crued, but if you have the right crew there's no stopping us. Special thanks to Tall Peter of North Jersey Jeep Club for inviting us to Roush Creek.

New Jersey Motor Park

Had a ton of fun at NJMP, Burned off a set of tires all in good fun. We put are skills to the test after running the oval on the road course, ket me tell ya offset karts don't likr to turn right. We're headed back down Nov.13th all are welcome to come to watch or drive. Special thanks to John John Lane for setting up the dates. Looks like the #51, #66, #17, #34, 2 of the #9's and maybe the #45 will be in attendence. Look forward to seeing everyone.

SUNDAY RACE @ Marsh Creek Speedway

After seeing pictures on Marsh Creek's Face Book Page, we didn't think there would be a chance in heck we'd be racing due to 2 feet of water flooding over the track. The Marsh Creek Crew got it done by pumping and cleaning all day Saturday. When we arrived Sunday the pits where a total nightmare but the track was in good racing condition.
The #34 ran double duty running the Clone and the Champ, while the #17 ran her Kid Kart.

KAT Motorsports Heads to Dover International Speedway

KAT Motorsports took the weekend off to go to Dover Speedway to watch the big boys in action. This was Maddie's first cup race so we're pretty excited.
To bad it was the most boring race we'd ever seen

Marsh Creek Speedway & Sandy Hook Speedway Weekend

Maddie picks up her first win at March Creek Speedway in the #17 Kid Kart. Kirk takes a 3rd in the Flat Clone and a 3rd in the Champ Kart.

At Sandy Hook Speedway Maddie ran some of the fastest laps of the Kid Kart racers. They don't run features there?????? We know, we thought the same thing. The #34 Champ kart finished 3rd in that feature, led a lap or two which was nice. Got to sit back and watch the Clones battle it out for a change the #45 of Art Neary took home the win over the #66 of Bruce Allen aka Dad. Great weekend of racing.

We'll be heading out to PA to run the pavement at Marsh Creek speedway on Friday Night and then heading further south to race another pavement tri-oval in Maryland, Sandy Hook Speedway on Sunday. We'll rest on Monday. It's a race'n deal.

KAT Motorsports welcomed at March Creek Speedway in PA on Friday Night along with some other Wall Stadium Racers.

The #17 wowed the track by showing her driving skills in her 20 lap feature win. Each lap Maddie picked up speed as she grew more aggressive as the night went on.

   The #34 Flat Clone was driven by my dad Bruce Allen, he ran a great race starting dead last he was able to finish 3rd out of 7. Great Job Dad.

    The #34 Sr. Champ was driven by kirk Allen who finished 1st in his feature out of 3.

We had a great time at the track and were made to feel right at home even getting one of the tracks youngsters a ride in Maddie's kart. Thanks Dave for your interest in having us.

Family Fun Night Was A Success

Never thought this kart would hook up so well.

Started 8th out 15 Sr. Champ Karts, ran trough the field up to 1st and the caution came out for a green, white, checker. unfortunatly only came in third in the heat race. Starting 3rd in the feature and droping back to 4th the #34 was able to battle back to 2nd and battle for the lead to take 2nd. But I didn't loose I just ran out of laps. LOL

I had a great time running the Champ and look forward to running both Sr. Clone and Sr. Champ classes

#34 Senior Champ Kart to Run 8/21 & 8/22

I know what you're thinking, another KAT Motorsports Ride.

That's right, the BIG Race at Wall Stadium, KAT Motorsports will be debuting it's new kart in the fleet. The #34 Sr. Champ will be driven by Kirk Allen, maybe you know this guy, he's currently racing the #34 Sr.Clone which is leading the class in points and has 10 wins in that series.

We decided to try our hand at the Sr. Champ Kart due to the high kart count at Wall. It also opens up some opportunities that the Sr. Clone does not. The Sr. Clone is super fast and has no roll cage or seat belts. I think that holds promoters back from running them in special events. SAFETY is always an issue with racing and that a good thing.
